I’m looking for a piano piece (preferably classical) that suits my level of piano playing. I’ve been playing for about 3 years. I don’t mind having a challenge. Maple Leaf Rag is what I’m working on right now. Are there any classical piano pieces that suit my level of piano playing?

The Mendelssohn "Song Without Words" would be a good book to invest in. They range from pretty easy to somewhat difficult. They are great pieces to really work on techniques like shaping the melody while keeping the accompaniment quieter, phrasing, fingers, and chordal passages.

Some of them are very beautiful. There are a lot of them, 48 to be exact! Check them out here: http://imslp.org/wiki/Songs_Without_Words_%28complete%29_%28Mendelssohn,_Felix%29

You should be able to find a lot of recordings of these pieces on Youtube as well as the entire collection is pretty standard Romantic repertoire.
